What is it?
Black magic is a very evil act in Islam, and we should all seek refuge from it.
How it is caused
First and foremost, we must have complete faith in Allah and trust that nothing happens without His permission. If black magic affects someone, it is a test from Allah, and He alone can remove it.
Some people, in an attempt to remove black magic, engage in practices that are not part of Islam, such as:
• Hanging strange objects in their homes.
• Using amulets (taweez) with unknown writings.
• Placing shrouds or pictures around the house.
• Performing strange rituals based on superstition.
These actions have no basis in Islam and should be avoided.

Its symptoms
for context i live with my family single mom 3 siblings. we had weird stuff happen around the house all my childhood like blood and hair showing up and i mean big pieces of hair. it looked like someone cut it and placed it perfectly in areas around the house/roof. this stopped once my mom saw someone for it and they told us what to do, i didnt understand much i was a kid. recently it started again, my mom took a CLEAN glass to pour juice n before she did there was this blood drop like random out of nowhere ik it sounds crazy but we were all there my moms not the type to overexaggerate/focus on these things too much as she always advises us to just remember Allah n pray. then a couple weeks ago we got home n there was the same hair piece laid perfectly by our shoe rack.
we just threw it out then it happened again in my sisters room three separate times in random spots of her room. then one night my cat was looking up at the ceiling in my room from his tree and hissing he was staring for soo long it was like 2am i got so scared he never does this (this can MAYBE be explained cats are weird but still odd its like he could see something). im just scared atp its weird my sister lost her really good job and has been unable to get a new one since. normally i wouldnt believe/overthink such things but its re occuring and we’re all having weird dreams. my mom, brother, sister pray regularly they are religious me not so much but i do pray when i can i just lose motivation. we’ve been playing surah baqarah almost daily but nothing is working so im curious will it ever stop will things go back to normal will we stop having so many problems is it all cause of sihr?

Its cure in Islam

Black magic has the strongest effect on homes where there is little or no worship. A person should always remain engaged in Ibadah (worship) because Islam provides many supplications (duas) and Ruqyah that protect us from black magic.
• Ayat-ul-Kursi – Recite it frequently for protection.
• Surah Al-Falaq & Surah An-Nas – These are powerful in protection against jealousy (hasad) and evil.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Do not make your houses like graveyards. Shaytan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 780)
Surah Al-Baqarah is a cure for black magic. Playing or reciting it in the home regularly drives away Shaytan.

These actions have no basis in Islam and should be avoided.
• Say “Bismillah” before entering your home
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When you say Bismillah upon entering, Shaytan cannot enter.” (Sahih Muslim)
• Pray Salah regularly – Especially Fajr & Isha, as they provide strong protection against evil.
If the effects of black magic are severe, seek help from a qualified Islamic scholar who follows the Quran & Sunnah. Do not go to fake “peer babas” who use non-Islamic methods, as they might involve more evil practices.
