1️⃣ Surah Ar-Rum (30:21)
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً
Translation:
“And among His Signs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves so that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Surely in that are signs for people who reflect.”
➔ Meaning: Marriage is a sign of Allah’s mercy, love, and tranquility.
2️⃣ Surah An-Nur (24:32)
وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ
Translation:
“And marry those among you who are single and the righteous among your male and female servants.”
➔ Meaning: Islam encourages marriage for all who are able.
3️⃣ Surah An-Nahl (16:72)
وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُم بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةً
Translation:
“And Allah has made for you from your own selves mates and has made for you from your mates sons and grandchildren.”
➔ Meaning: Marriage is a blessing that leads to family and progeny.
4️⃣ Surah Al-Baqarah (2:187)
هُنَّ لِبَاسٌۭ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌۭ لَّهُنَّ
Translation:
“They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them.”
➔ Meaning: Spouses are protectors, supporters, and sources of comfort for each other.
5️⃣ Surah Al-Furqan (25:74) (A beautiful dua for marriage and family)
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Translation:
“Our Lord! Grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us leaders for the righteous.”
➔ Meaning: A supplication for a blessed family and righteous lineage.
